For Black Friday 2020, we moved away from Gathre’s typical stylized studio approach and leaned into something warmer and more lifestyle-driven. Our concept, "What Makes a Home," centered on the idea that home feels different to everyone. We introduced the campaign with a rotating-word GIF that invited customers to reflect on what home means to them—while positioning Gathre’s new holiday products as pieces that help make those moments feel even more meaningful.

On social, I aimed for a classic, cozy holiday aesthetic that supported the home-centered theme. The palette blended traditional red and green with hues that felt natural within Gathre’s brand. I paired a soft, newsprint-like texture—reminiscent of wrapping paper—with subtle script accents inspired by handwritten gift tags. The result was warm, inviting, and rooted in the feeling of gifting and gathering at home.
